Default Got the new drive shafts installed today.Should I disconnect the right side output

The smaller shaft had the wrong yoke to meet up with the automatic transmission, the rear one I had made longer to center it .. Should I disengage the one on the output on the right side now. This was a M724.

What do you mean disengage? It looks to be not connected in the pictures.

Since you disabled your option of running the generator/welded with the truck sitting still by using the middle output. There is no need for the parts to be on the truck functionality wise. However, those trucks are kind of rare. Leaving the levers and assembly on the truck keeps them with the truck. Who knows if you or some other future owner might want to make that option work again some year. They can’t go missing bolted to the truck and any weight saving from removing them are negligible.
