Thread: Disassembling doors

    Default Disassembling doors

ok so its probably somewhere on here but i searched "take apart" and "disassembly" and came up with zero relevant results.
anyway, i finally pulled my bed and cab off and have the frame blasted and por15'd.
cab is completely disassembled except for the doors.
i can get the window regulators and door latch mechanisms unbolted so they will fall to the bottom of the door cavity but how do i get the door panel removed from the actual door so i can sandblast the interior and prime/paint and then reinstall the door latch and window regulator?
it looks to me like if i unbolt the door latch and window regulator with the door assembled it will fall to the bottom and might be impossible to re-install without having access to the other side to get both hands on the job.20220825_200810.jpg

You can get your hands in there. I did it a while ago so I don't fully remember how I did it, but I don't recall it being overly complicated.
