Awesome looking truck. I've been on the hunt for another project...I gotta admit I'm pretty jealous.

I think I found the reason why the fuel gauge wasn’t working in the new M725. Dropped and cleaning out the tank today. It has a little scale but is overall not too bad

I forgot just how much fun it is striping these old crosses from the ambulance. It’s been almost 10 years since I last did it on the other ambulance I restored.

Plus the air cleaner that I repainted while waiting on other parts.

They may not be the prettiest of welds, but they are holding. Welding cast iron can be quite the challenge, but I managed to get the broken flange stuck back on. I wanted to just try it to see if I could do it good enough without cracking the cast iron from excess heat from the weld. It turned out so solid that I decided to put it back on and keep the NOS one I have coming as a spare incase this let’s go. I fired it up a drove around the block and it so nice to have a fully functioning exhaust system back under this ambulance. It’s so nice and quiet like the other ones I have now.

I've been slowly working away at the M725. I have a ton of events and stuff going on right now making time to work on it limited. But I have been sand blasting along the undersides of the cab floors to clean off the surface rust and stop it before it gets any worst.

Nope I sanded the rear bumperettes and didn't find any. The previous owner put some fake 101 AB markings on it. At least he told me that when I bought it.
