    Post need new information on 24 v coil

    OK ! Its July 2022 What is the most current information on where a frusrtrated (4 coils later, I back to using a 1978 US built unit). Can buy a reliable 24 volt coil that will last more than a year and longer than a thousand miles. Thanks for listening to my rant.

    There is a thread on the G838.org board about the newer coils, most are running USGI coils as no new ones meet the original spec. They can be found in other MV's such as the M151-M38 etc.

    Peter Debella's Jeep Parts has supposedly found a supplier who makes them to the old specs and are supposed to last like the originals. https://www.debellajeepparts.com/M38...AL_CATALOG.htm I haven't tried one, but I know there was some talk about them on a few of the other forums.
