Depends on how you paint it, how many coats, and what type of system you use. To paint every surface inside and out with 3 solid coats with a Hvlp system is 3.5 gallons. A simple re-spray, spraying only the outsides and maybe the inside of the bed, plan on 2 gallons.

The HAZMAT fee is the same to get it shipped for 1, 2, 3 or 4 gallons. Get 4 gallons and you will find other stuff to paint if you have any left over.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
