    Default Rear diff

    Figure I'd contribute some meaningful info to the membership here today.

    Never drive 75mph on a dry rear end. That's all I'm going to say right now until I cool down.

    All I can say is the locker better be OK and if I have any spun races somebody's gonna pay!!! Snapped the Pinon right off at the seal. Dropped the driveshaft.

    Turns out the races weren't spun and locker was ok. New gears, bearings, Pinon. $2k. Half was labor.

    Seems to run much quieter with gear oil. Turns out front was equally dry. Fortunately it didn't get engaged on the way home.
