    Default Oil on rear hub

Noticed grease on the rear hub last night. It has been sitting over the winter, took it out last night for the first time and noticed this when i got back. Looks like it has been RTV'd in the past. Could i redo the RTV or is this something to be worried about?

I would get some of the thin gasket material Napa sells and cut out a gasket for that and rtv that on...they sometimes tend to need a fair amount of rtv as they arent exactly flat...thus the little gasket...

Not to worry...looks like a sealing failure and nothing else.

skip the gasket. seal it with "the right stuff" it sets up faster and seals better than RTV.
