Stock firewall area pics?

I am getting to the point where I need to start routing the harness, choke, speedo and whatever else along the firewall but I am not really sure where everything goes. Does anybody have a few pictures of these areas for a nice, stock truck? Examples of the areas I am interested in are shown in pics from my truck below.

I find it interesting that your photos show the wire loom to the right engine side, is routed along the upper fire wall.

I found mine routed inside of the cab. But, who knows how many hands had been in there before me.

Yep with as many hands as mine had passed through who knows. Mine looks like it had the heater in it for a long time and I don't know if someone at some point was too lazy to fish all up there behind it. Looking at pics under the hood of my M725 looks like wire runs inside.

Thanks so much for posting these pics! The interior shots are very helpful too. I think that is enough to get me going.
I am really surprised at how much bend is in the speedo cable. Perhaps that is why the break? I looked at how it threads into the Transfer case and i'm thinking I don't ever want to replace that thing.

As a follow-up question -

I am installing the steering column, and where it meets the firewall, there is a foam rubber gasket. My gasket has an imprint from some piece that was on the upper half of the gasket (see dotted red area in picture below).
What goes there?
It seems like there is a piece of metal that slots in there. Otherwise, there is a hole in the firewall. I looked at the pedal brackets inside the cab and they don't seem to cover that up.
