Reaching out to anyone who has successfully mated an LS engine to an SM465 and divorced NP205. How did your conversion go? Did you go with a hydraulic clutch? Any lessons learned? Not sure if I'm getting over my head, but I am replacing my entire drivetrain with more modern components. I have gathered most of the major components, but am deciding whether to rebuild an aluminum block 5.3 vortec sitting in the corner of my workshop or go with a new LS3 engine.
