    1968 M-715
    Delivery Date: 10/68
    VIN: 30061
    Reg#: 03N28268

I'm pretty certain on the Reg #, I found a piece of paper from back when i restored it that I had written on. I seems accurate from what I can tell from reading through the posts about the formatting of the number.

    Cool,

I wonder how that serial number ended up being lower than mine? Because it is a M725?

    Question m715 # 16257

Looking for information on a m715. Where was it stationed, what did it do, was it in combat. How do I find this stuff out? The registration in the window if Massachusetts 2013.
    Thankyou

Sorry but non of that information is available, there are no known ways to track where a vehicle was stationed or with which unit it served other than sanding down to find the last set of bumper markings. The military did not keep those records once the vehicle was surplussed, they were destroyed at that point. What I have found is a very limited data base of select vin #'s that allows me to match your vin# with the original hood registration numbers. That is the only info that the data base has.
