    Question Holley 2bbl carb?

Which Holly 2bbl was used on the 230 Tornado? These are still available IIRC.
    TIA

    Actually, there were 2:

1963-64 Holley 2300, 350 cfm model NOT the 500 cfm model
    1965 Holley 2415

There is a version of the 2300 model tha is still available. The 2415 is not.

    Thank you sir!

Would this 500cfm version of the 2300 work on the 2bbl manifold?

Well, it will bolt up as it has the same bolt pattern, but I don't know how well the 500 cfm one would work on the 230, as Brute4c said earlier. I have the other 2300 model, the 350 cfm one. It works great. Very noticible difference in power and response over the single barrel. I think you start losing response and low end torque if you put too big of a carb on an engine.

Won't work. Too shiny. Bling doesn't work on M715's. Find one in the standard finish.

Agreed....500 woul over carb the 230 and the bottom end torque would fall off alot...and that something you NEED in these trucks...

The 500cfm one is more towards performance than mpg's. I have a 65 Ford F100 with a 352 and a Holley 500cfn 2 barrel on it and if I get on it, I get about 6 mpg.
