There are over three pages on the BS board. What are your settings in the user CP? You might only have it set for showing only the post in the last 5 days or something like that.

Is it just me or does some people's default settings seem to vary wildly? We had the issue with the display modes being set all weird for a few people and Tac has an issue with how many posts per page. Is there a "default" setting for most options or does the forum program just give you whatever?

There is a common default setting Lanty. But, if you change something at the bottom of a thread, it goes back to what it was before. You have to change it in the "User CP." This drove me nuts when I was playing around here trying to find stuff to break. Especially the "notify by e-mail" thing about threads you have posted to. I made post in every single board in July or August as a "visitor" or un registered new person. I changed it in the user cp after Jon and Hammer replied to my post in the Question forum. But, each of those other 10-20 threads still had the notify option alive. A few months later Bryant, Timmah and DP showed up and started looking for stuff to break themselves. They replied to my theads. I had 56 emails one morning from the Zone. I had to go to each individual thread and change the options or make a reply and change the option when doing so.

My point is that you have to change it in the user cp and any threads you posted to before that change will appear different until you change them.

    Hope this helped some.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Actually Tim, you can go into your User CP and 'view all subscriptions', then you can do a mass update on the notification, or even un-subscribe to them. Or you can do it individually like you did.
Both ways work, but there are options there to make it faster.
