So I started the project to put Ford brake cylinders on all four corners last weekend. And I say "project" because holey crap what the heck is the backing plate made out of - diamond !!!!????

Forget the Dremel ... eats those instantly. Cut off about 6" of a round file and put it in my drill. After 30 dang minutes I'd ground out the holes for ONE cylinder.

Took the rest of the day to unfreeze the adjuster at BOTH ends. Screw end not so bad. Cap end ... well lets just say I had to check the parts diagrams to make sure the adjuster was in fact THREE separate pieces and not two.

Side note ... decided not to rebuild my carb. Bought a rebuilt one of of EBay from a carb place in Cali. Unfortunately no brass float. But hey ... I'm not having to rebuild it.
