    Default 7 Year Build - M715

    Hello All,

New member here and wanted to thank everyone for all the forum posts that helped me assemble/modify my truck. It started off as a high school project and lagged on due to limited funds. I was able to drive it for the first time last weekend and I must say that these trucks are special!

    Before(At time of purchase):

    After:

If anyone wants to know more about my truck or want to see more pictures of how I made some modifications, please let me know!

    That is an amazing transformation.
looks like not rushing it paid off!
tho your story and 7 year timeline scares me a bit. hoping I don't end up on the 7 year plan too.
looks like it was worth it tho.

Thanks Everyone! The specs on the truck is as follows:

    Drivetrain: Mild 350, SM465, NP205
    Tires: 41.5x13.5x17 Pitbull Rockers
Rims: 17x10 Boyce Equipment Custom Rims (4.5" Backspacing)
hydroboost, hydraulic clutch, custom bumpers, warn 8274, etc...

I was set on a 6bt Cummins at the start of the build but I stumbled upon a 350 and it was free so it made sense.

This was my first engine rebuild so you can image it took a long time. I was always worried that something wasn't torqued right or adjusted properly but it came together quite nicely.

I was 99% set on a NV4500 but stumbled upon an Sm465/NP205 combo from an 86 K30 and couldn't pass up the deal.

At This point, I needed to fabricate a transmission mount and all i had access to was some C channel. I hate cutting original pieces off the frame, so a custom mount was made that bolts to the original bracket.

    test fit

    And primed

I can continue adding to this thread if you all are interested.
