Default New england business to repower M715?

I am a member of a volunteer fire department in New England. We have a M715 that we are looking to repower but don't have the knowledge and time to do it ourselves. Are there any companies out there that someone recommends that we contact to do the work for us. We are willing to transport it and have the funds to get the job done.

Welcome to the Zone and the whacky world of military vehicles.

What exactly do you want the truck to do when the repower is done? That has to be figured out before you can get serious about finding a place to do the work. We have people who have assembled 48 mph top speed off road monsters, 90 mph highway cruisers and just about everything in between. Please also keep in mind that a stock truck is amazing at its intended mission. Move 1-1/4 tons off road up to 30 mph and 2-1/2 tons on road up to 50 mph or so.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

There are two places in Berkshire County that I know of. The first is Commonwealth Auto Restorations they specialize in military Restorations. The second one is Donovan Motorcar Service, ( I happen to be a restoration mechanic there) and we do all sorts of restorations and Reston mod work including vintage race cars. It would be a great project. The number for Donovans is 413-499-6000 we are in Lenox, MA. I would as Barrman said figure out what is the real goal for the truck and also have a ball park about you would like to spend. Then call and ask for Dean or Brian and they will have a conversation with you.

I would recommend Endangered Species Jeep in Holyoke MA....I started out as a customer 15 yrs ago and have since been to Moab Utah 4 wheeling with the owner Todd and to his wedding And Sully the lead mechanic, I am his son's godfather. 413-532-0732 Great crew and all they do is Jeeps and they have been a tremendous help in all of my projects (Cj, M38, and 715). PM me or call them if you want/need....

What part of NH are you in?
    Is that real money?
