    Default Bantam Jeepfest

Is anyone going to Jeepfest in Butler PA? While it is a mostly civilian Jeep event, there is usually a few M715s and a lot of good Jeep camaraderie. I will be driving up with my M725 ambulance. This will be the first long trip ( about 250 miles) since I changed the head gasket last summer. It has never let me down yet but, I will keep my fingers crossed. I hope to see a few of you there!

I'm looking forward to going to some events eventually, but my 715 is no where road worthy yet, let alone trail worthy. Plus I'm down in Arizona. Hope it's a good one.

Charlie, best wishes on the trip.
I will also keep my fingers crossed for you as well.

    Do you travel I79?
If so, how do you keep from getting run over?

    Dan,
Yes, I went up I79 and yes, EVERYONE passed me. I try to keep it at about 50-55mph. People seemed to be good-natured about it. I got a lot of thumbs up and many photos were taken. I put about 275 miles on it with no problems at all. I won second place in the M series military Jeep division.
