Thread: T98 Input Shaft Diameter

  1. #1

    Default T98 Input Shaft Diameter

I bought a T98 input shaft on eBay to use as a clutch lineup shaft. The input shaft on my spare T98 (origin unknown) is 1.125" diameter. The input shaft I bought on eBay is 1.375" diameter. What is the correct size for a stock M715?

Mine is the rusty one below.

    Good morning.
For the stock M715 input shaft.
The outer diameter of the spline is 1.125", and the pilot shaft diameter is .625"

same as chevy except pilot bushing area. m715 is slightly bigger in this regard.
