No spellcheck on this thing. Yes - its Dyno testing but mainly to ensure it works under a load and runs at the temps & compression within spec. My concern was that if I was going through this whole process that I'd want to know affirmatively that the motor was indeed ready to install without leaks by having it under load for 3-hours and not overheat or blow something. So in the truest sense of Dyno testing, thats the wrong word but I don't have another one.

I,d love to see the print out of the test. I,ve done a lot of race engines but never a 230. did the test outfit give you this info with the engine you bought ?

I have purchased many parts from Memphis Equipment over the past two years and they didn't let me down when the engine had to be sourced. Well packaged and so far, it looks like a clean rebuild. The 24v accessories were removed prior to testing so hopefully it will be a fairly simple swap and have promised myself not to fall prey to "while you are at it" disease.

Seems kinda strange to see a 230 Tornado in a crate like that. Actually, it's a pretty sight.

Bob Cowan in Kingsport, TN has a new engine in the crate (unless he sold it). I saw it. But trust me, we could not afford it
