That would depend on which way the wind is blowing.
For a stock truck, with no wind, it's probably around 55 mph. If you truck has the governor (and hood mounted air cleaner), it might be a bit slower.
wide open is 45 mph the engine is screaming then. yes it will go faster but wont live. jmo

Mine will run 55 all day long and 60 for short bursts on flat ground. Which is the same in my M715 also. When it's cold it takes a bit to get up to speed but once the motor and all the gear oils are warmed up it runs those speeds no problem.

I bought a m725 ambulance last year, does this look like it has a governor. I can go about 30-35mph in high. Has plenty of power so I am assuming it has a governor that is keeping the speed down. Haven't had much time to do much with it until now.
Thanks
It doesnt look like it has the 2 inch thick biscuit under the carb that the governor is...
If you have the air filter that is like a typical car air cleaner, mounted on the carb, then you do NOT have the governor.
If you have a large canister mounted under the hood with a hose hooked to the top of the carb with an aluminum piece mounted directly on the carb, then you probably have a governor...unless someone removed it.

Pro-choice, that's a LIE, babies don't choose to die!!
The guv'nor sits between the carb and the manifold. I don't see one in the picture. And as Brute pointed out, if you have the standard carb-mounted air cleaner then you don't have the guv'nor.
I have driven my M725 to the Aberdeen show several times ( 500 mile round trip) and I can hold it at about 55mph no problem. It can do 60 but I don't think I want to sustain that for long periods. Drive train is screaming at that speed.
