Default Outer fender to inner fender rubber

I am resembling my front clip and the rubber that sealed between the inner and outer fender was mostly gone during disassembly. Does it stitch to the top of the inner fender, or bottom of inner fender? Thanks.

It was stapled to the top of the inner fender where it meets the outer fender.

It is the same as on J-trucks/Cherokee/Wagoneers 60'-89'. I have never seen a vendor offer a replacement one, but then again I have never looked that hard for one. You might be able to find a decent pair in a junk yard if you look around.

Mine are in fairly good shape and currently off War Pig and laying flat to straighten out. I could try to sketch the dimensions out and post the info if anyone wanted to cut new ones.

I'm trying to find out what size staples were used myself.

Thanks guys. I made my own with pieces of vinyl baseboard that I trimmer down. I used rivets instead of staples. Worked really well.
