Looks like they are parting 9 trucks.
Axle sets $1500 for pair front and rear.
I don't think you can see pics if you are not registered, but you can see text.

Not ready for an axle swap yet.. but I will regret not getting these someday.
Nice rolls of razor wire in the beds... palletized.
I think I see 24 volt battery disconnects under the dash on the drivers right side.
( and 24 volt slave plug connectors pass side front grill and under the dash drivers side)
Do these usually run twin alternators ?
Transfer cases... 200 bucks... Do anyone know which transfer case this is on the m1008?
Interesting lot.
The plug by the drivers right foot is the STE/ICE port. The military version of OBDII. Standard Testing Equipment/Internal Combustion Engine.
Yes, all CUCV trucks came with two alternators. 24 volt starter and slave cable system. Everything else is 12 volts.
All CUCV trucks except the 1031 maintenance trucks came with a NP208 chain drive passenger side drop tcase. The M1031 had a NP205.
All of the CUCV 14 bolt axles had lockers in them from the factory. I think only the M1028 front axle had lockers from the factory.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Thanks Barrman.
These trucks are interesting.
I see why everyone wants a 14 bolt axle, with the lockers already installed.
I dont know much about them... but I am pretty sure Im happier with the M 715 : )
If money was no object... the axle set would be a nice thing to get right about now... and take some time rehabing them and planning to set them under the truck.
Seems like the m1031 is the one to look for for the 205 and the front axle from a m1028.
Humm... Thanks again...
Seems Im not missing out on much immediately...
Give it a few years and I might consider doing an axle swap.
( just found another set of 6 Michelin 11 x 16's ... so Im good for a while now )
Appreciate the technical information... for sure.

Some of the 1028s have the 205 also.
Mine was advertised as a 1008 when I bought it from Government Liquidators. When I got it the truck was actually the 1028 with the Trac Loc front differential. Unfortunately, mine had the 208 case. It is amazing how much these axles sets have gained value. Didn't seem that long ago when about$1000 was the going price. They are great axles for the conversion.
