Thread: Finally starting after 15 years

Default Spring got me going again

Found my np 205 2nd gen chevy case. French Lake Auto in Minnesota had one cheaper than I could find locally and it was delivered the next day. One of the good salvage yards that keeps the old stuff around. Swapping ford guts into the case now. Guess what? NP 205 rebuild kits no longer available/orderable through O" reilly auto parts.

Reading about the 11.00r20 install on an m715 here. He says the inner wheel diameter is 17 inches. These wheels I saved off the 67 international have a 17 inch inside diameter too. I am going to contact marsh, see if they will send me a wheel blank to make my own 20 inch wheel with the hand holes similar to an m715.

I scrapped the rest of the international today. Got the dana 70 front, pto hydraulic pump, control valves, lift cylinder, radiator, 7 6 lug wheels and recovered all but 35 dollars I spent on the whole truck. Now I got a little play money to find what else the truck needs.
