Default Fishtail express rides to VPW---again

Just got back from Fairfield Iowa today. Spent a couple hours in the containers with the M715 parts.

    Here is what I found:

    Rear axle shaft end cones.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    NOS PTO assembly.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Spring pack bushings and door regulators.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Engine breather hoses.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Heater blower motors.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    New front axle assemblies.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Misc.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Fording cables.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    More to follow.

    Continues.

Steering shaft bearing or whatever they call it.

    [IMG][/IMG]

More misc. (those are intake valves wrapped up)

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Rectifiers for 100 amp system.

    [IMG][/IMG]

More misc. Sparton turn signal units and water temp sending units.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Heat cables, must be a couple hundred.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Ambulance spot light, the only one.

    [IMG][/IMG]

A data plate sitting there from a scrapped truck.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Seat bottom plywood only. Had a bunch with springs but a crate of boards and angle brackets rivited on only.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    More to follow.

    Continued.

    Axle shafts, all you need.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Ambulance rear doors.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Heater parts-1 Heater core housings have heater cores in them, NOS

    [IMG][/IMG]

Heater parts-2 diffuser box with fresh air cables

    [IMG][/IMG]

Only a couple defrost ducts left.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Tie rod end dust boots.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Gas filler neck thru cargo box edge grommets.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Connecting rod or main bearings. The camera wiped out the part number on the box, sorry about that. Must have a couple hundred boxes. Not sure the size.

Brake backing plate adjusting hole grommets.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Steering shaft fiberous insulator link thingy (whatever its called)

    [IMG][/IMG]

Need a winch control data plate? (there's a ton of fording plates, too, but that is all the plates I found)

    [IMG][/IMG]

Here's a box of about 10,000 brass data plate rivets. (and a couple more boxes there, too)

Here is some of what I got.

Air cleaner, old style, in box on top, gas tank anti-squeak welts, plywood seat bottoms.

    [IMG][/IMG]

    Frame length fuel lines.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Winch shear pins, brake backing plate grommets, transfer case shifter handle boots, tie rod dust boots.

    [IMG][/IMG]

A pair of tie rods with ends. Can't buy one Moog end for the price of a left/right combined here.

    [IMG][/IMG]

A pair of fuel lines from engine. One dirty one is my original.

    [IMG][/IMG]

Last original choke cable I could find there.

    [IMG][/IMG]

All in all, it was worth the trip again. Takes 6 hours to get there, all by 4 lane highway. Got pretty hot in those containers. I'd suggest not going in the summer at all.

    Enjoy the pics.

Installed the choke cable on my M715, replaced an old black knob cable. Also removed the old transfer case lever boots and installed two new ones. NOTE: heat to boiling the new boots and spray the shaft with WD40 and they slip right on.

I did NOT find in the containers:

    Inner door panel fastener clips
    Heater hose "J" pipes
    Defrost cables
    Ambulance rear dome lights
    Brown recluse spiders

I did climb deep into the mystery container. It contains more leaf spring packs, seat frames, door vent windows, exhaust pipes and late style air cleaner rubber hoses.

Feel free to call. Tell them Scott sent you.
