Default Need Inboard Front Spring Pics

Hey guys I Have my frame stripped and ready to do a spoa on the front. Im gonna be inboarding the springs and doing a shackle reversal at the same time. Could you guys post some pics of your front leaf mounts? I'm kinda undecided on which way to go. Thanks,Pete

Here is what I did. You might want to look at Ryanroo's build. He does excellent fabrication. I used parts from Ruff Stuff for the shackles. The fronts were fabbed out of 1/4 inch plate with some 1/2 inch square gussets. The springs are Rough Country 2 inch lift for a mid 80's Chevy 3/4 ton. Hope this helps.

Thanks Troop. I saw your writeup after I posted my thread. Are the inner halves of the brackets on a angle? It looks like they are from the pics.

The pictures are a little deceiving. Both the inner and outer brackets are parallel with the frame sides. There are 90 degree turns on the inside that are welded to the front frame cross member. The brackets are also boxed and welded together to give additional strength. Here is a little better picture.
