    Finally, after spending over 30 hours scraping bed liner material from the bed I was able to patch in were the VFD torched holes in it.







    Thanks maskale for sending me the piece of salvaged floor to use.
    Something just didn't seem right about welding a rust pitted patch into a rust free bed LOL, but it is just fine and much better than me trying to make something myself

    Very nice!

    And only 30 hours to scrape off the bed liner?












    Seriously, I hate that stuff. Its great for what its intended for, but when you need to remove it, its a LOT of work.

    Sveng52 I have one more piece in very good condition, no pits, but its small, like 7x8"

    Nice Job!.....I've got some small holes to patch myself from the water tank bolts....but nothing like yours....nice match up with the patch, no one will ever know
