    Default Fuel tank, color?

    A question I am about to paint the frame and I know the color ORIGINAL FUEL TANK?
    It is black? is equal to the frame?

    Black it is for me. I think maybe when they were just off the assembly line, they may have been O.D. Black is a safe bet and nice look.

    I think black is the correct original color. Frame was black as well.

    When I removed mine, black was under all the other layers.
