Thread: Alignment Spec In Degrees?

    Default Alignment Spec In Degrees?

I did some math and came up with about .205 degrees of toe in, given the manual spec of 1/8" and a 34-35" tire. Does that seem right? I figured it would be a little higher, but I don't have much experience with alignments. All I did was draw a triangle and solve for the angle...
I'd like to take it to a shop this afternoon and get it dialed in since my tires are fairly soft and pretty expensive. I know the specs for a 1963 Chevy 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton 4x4 will work but I need to confirm if their machine has a listing for that.
    Thanks

My Hunter alignment computer says .25° total toe is what the .1963 K10/K20 is. With a tolerance of .12° Which is .13 inches and a tolerance of .06 inches.

I am the one that came up with the Chevy truck year and model a few years ago. I just looked through old manuals until I found one with the same spec as the M715. It has worked great for my truck all these years.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

    6.2 powered M715, 5 M1009's, M416, 2 M101's, 2 M105's, 3 M35's, M1007 6.5 turbo Suburban project called Cowdog.
