    Default steering column

I am getting ready to install an aftermarket steering column in my M715. It is basically the same dimensions as the original column and was intending to mount it the same way the original column was installed. The problem is, I removed the old column 10 years ago and cannot remember how it mounted in the loop under the dash panel. There had to be some type of bracket but I am drawing a blank. Can someone post a picture of the assembly to help refresh my aging brain?
    Thanks

There is a funny little piece that does the mount up at the dash...I looked through the manuals exhaustively for this before...I dont believe there is a view of it...I can try to describe it...maybe it is sitting around in your stuff...

It is about 5 inches wide and kind of looks like it could have been made out of a flat piece of steel about an inch wide. The ends have a flat piece about an inch from each end with the bolt hole in that part. Then there is a right angle and maybe 1/2 inch then there is the center section that is about 3 inches or so wide...this section is curved from left to right to fit the curve of the steering column tube...it is also twisted a bit from the flat that the ends are because it mounts flat on the dash but the column is running past it at an angle.

    Does that make sense/help?
