Default New Here Thinking About A M715

Hello im new here just registered. Im thinking about getting a M715 well it started about a year year and a half ago i seen a M715 for sale near me on a back road so i stoped and looked at is is was ok shape ran and that was missing tailgate and looked like they had a boom in the back for lifting something. Roof looked tined up and siliconed dnt look original. But i didnt have the money at the time. Well a few months ago i found another this one from what i seen was in a little rougher shape got in contact with owner and he said it did/does run and move 4x4 work it has a winch on it and a hard top wich looks original. He said he would sell t for $700 im currently deciding what to do. I know it needs some body&rust repair. Thats one reason i joined here does anyone know if they make replacment panels for these at a decent cost?

What id like to do is get it,look it over get it running and check to see whats working and not. Id like to build a registered off road truck. nothing extream tho.

    Hey Mike,
Welcome to the zone. I looked for a few years as well, before finding a truck. The winch alone on the truck may be worth 700.00 if its complete and operational.

Depending on the panels, you may find replacements. This place is a new site. The father used to make panels, but passed away. The son is tooling up to start making the panels now. Hopefully he will be up soon:

Like he said the winch is worth $700 I'd love to have a winch on mine. Sounds like you got the fever and as most on here will tell you it wont stop till you buy one weather it's this one or another. They are great trucks to own and fun projects. Welcome and good luck

Hey Mike, welcome. You've got the scratch, you might as well itch it. Get the truck and let the fun begin. Plenty of people here on the Zone that will answer all your questions, and help you find what you need to get the truck up and running. Keep looking if you think you can do better. Their are alot of trucks out there to choose from. Good luck.
