    Default rubber door seals availability

how much of the door seals and window seals are possible to aquire ,i have looked around the sites and seen a few parts available, but what i really need is the blocks at the tops of the doors front and back which attach with the small cross head screws. mine are all fatigued pretty badly and im wondering how much care i should be taking with removal. for some reason i imagine these to be fairly unobtainable, hopefully somone will tell me that they are easy to get

Those in the door jam are not available...unfortunately...

We have a member who at one time was going to make a mold and repo those...it never happened...that was 5 years ago or so now....

Those are not available, but the rest of them are still out there. I think I purchased my door seals from VPW.

Even with all of them installed, in a decent rain I still get wet in the truck though.

The guy works for a rubber company that could make them...he may be a part owner but not sure on that.

One member sent him a good piece to use to set the mold...time ticked by...a lot of time...

Finally an answer came that it wouldnt be happening any time soon...and we havent heard since.

I hope our member got his piece back...I **think** it was kwai...

This is for the regular door seals. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/M37-D...item5ae40b563b

This is for the windows. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/M715-...item58913a4969

This will help a little bit. They usually list one for piece. Must have sold it, it was for the top front of the door seal.

Fisherman discovered while restoring his truck that rubber parts soaked in 303 protectant for a couple months will return even the most brittle part back to a normal shape and resiliency. For the hard to find stuff, it may be the only choice. But it works.
