    Default 12v conversion -hood light

I have done a complete 12v conversion, Im just getting to the finishing touches, does anyone have a solution for a 12v hood light. It looks like the black out lens is part of the bulb.

Use the search tab for Blackout Light Conversion. Randyscycle has a detailed thread on how to do it, with pictures.

Lanty did a real good write up on it too. I can't remember if I added to someone elses or did my own write up when I made mine 12V.

Either way, it isn't that tough a job to do. We all know how important that useless light is yet how much it impressess people when we turn it on and explain how the entire B/O system works.

Great tips, thanks. I used LEDs for my whole conversion, intergrating the design shown (beast) I think I will be able to use LED there as well, dont know if they will provide enough light or not.

A stock b/o spot light barely gives enough light to see by. That is the entire point though. If you just put anything univolt in there near the slit, it would be an improvement.
