Thread: Making Progress...

    Default Making Progress...

Making some progress on the M715 the last couple weeks. My goal is to have it all painted and 'done' at the end of August... I don't think it will happen but that is what I am going for.

Got the painted front end on (except the hood)

Pulled off the front bumper and brackets to send to the sandblaster.

    Got the bed off

Started prepping the frame for paint

    Pics here:

It looks like I can add the pics:

Just got the front clip on:

Pulled the front bumper and prepped the front of the frame for paint (since you can see it under the bumper)

    Got the bed off:

    Frame prep:

    Done for the day:

Here is a weird bump on the rear crossmember, it isn't a crease but it is basically a 'tumor' on the crossmember:

On the last picture in Post #2 you can see it there, it is shiny and just to the right of the pintle.

I bet that bump is from too long of a bolt in the spare tire carrier. See if it lines up that way.

Ha, you're right! I drove that thing in with an impact, I just thought the threads were munged up.

The guy I work with thinks it was a bullet. Maybe that is what I tell people.
