    Default Lightswitch question

Just installed light switch after complete re-build of entire truck and put everything back exactly as before and now no matter what position light switch is put on, headlights come on at every setting. Im sure there must be a wrong connection at the junction box. Light switch worked fine prior to rebuild. Anybody know whats wrong? thanks

If they're on in every setting but off / straight up, check to make sure you didn't get it crossed with the brake switch output. If they're on in every setting, including off, I'm not sure you have them wired to the switch. The switch could also be defective, of course.

I agree with Randy, could be defective switch. If you have another light switch laying around try swapping it over. With 24 years in the motor pool I have never had headlights on in every position.
