Staff Sergeant
This is the truck that I drove in Germany, 1970. It is rather close to the color of the 24087 and many of the NOS parts that I have gotten are similar. I will agree that the 24087 is a little more brown, leaning toward the WWII color. The picture is a scan of an actual photograph that I took.
