all Koenig Winches spool from the bottom from

It depends upon how the spool was wrapped and in which direction the spool was turning when it was wrapped. On my pto Ramsey I wrapped it how I wanted it. I don't think it matters.
It doesn't matter as long as your have the open ended slot for the cable on the drum. The electric winch motors work the same going either direction.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
