    Default Idling trouble

So I get back from deployment and then go on leave from Ft.Bragg for a month. So i'm down here in Florida having a ball. My truck was running great, the best it ever has actually. Then suddenly, out of nowhere its starts idling very roughly, to the point after 10 seconds it dies. This happened in the middle of a trip to the store. So basically everytime i had to stop on the way home i had to keep the RPMs up, ran great there, just terrible at idle. Could the idle on my carb have screwed up in the middle of a little beer run?

I would suspect dirt in your float needle and seat. Pull the float ball off the carb, clean it out and put back together.

Mine used to do this every 500 miles or so. No matter how many fuel filters I used. The only real fix is to have your rank cleaned.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

My idle fuel port was clogged but ran with the choke out a little bit. Sent it to Daytona Parts, had the carb over hauled. Runs great now.
    Thanks for all the help!
