Most of us with Michelin XL or XZL tires got them directly or indirectly from the government GL site. The USMC has a vehicle called a LAV. The LAV ran 11.00-16 tires on it. The rims were 2 piece tubeless rims. The LAV now has different rims, so when they sold the 11.00-16 tires, the rims went with them.

I have broken down 14 of the LAV rims now. I hope I never see another. While the idea of a tubless rim is neat, nobody outside of a USMC base is going to even have a clue, much less the equipment needed to fix a flat either.

The above was for those asking questions about the rims and tires. Bacardi, neat use of what you have to make something work. If you have a 5th tire, move the under bed round cross member forward as far as it will go and you can hang your spare under the bed.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

lol well actually it could go up 75mph with the old tires but it was scary and with the new shoes its actually a lot smoother now... i still wont take it to 75mph though.

i have 4.88 in the diffs with a chevy 350/th400 combo.

10-12% increase in road speed if those are 11.00-16 tires compared to 9.00-16 stock tires.
