Yeah, do it not running. That cam chain throws oil amazing distances.
Oh, these engines seem to all have noisy rockers. Most of the ones I have messed with made noise because they were too tight, not too loose. Keep that in mind when you adjust them. The feeler gauge is your friend.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Put the new guide, rocker, and stud on today. Runs A LOT better, has more power than it did before and doesn't smoke. Wont be able to work on it for the next few days so going to finish it all up and do the gap measurement in bit.
