6" of backspacing leaves plenty of room for big tires.

When I had 13.5 inch wide TSL's on my 715, I had Marsh Wheels with 4.5" of backspacing. They never rubbed, except at full lock and full stuff once every so often.

I have 38.5 boggers on my rims that are 4.75 back spacing. I wanted to go more back spacing but the rims wouldnt allow me to go more. I have no problems with rubbing at all, but it is close. If I were to order some rims, I would have them at 5.5 to 6 inches. look up (hummer bead lock wheels finished) if you want to see pics of them on the truck.
