    has anyone done a power steering conversion

    I just won a 715WW at the OK Forestry auction with a V6 and power steering, I have all the parts except for fabing up a mount for one of my stock 715s, just haven't gotten around to mounting it!

    Power Steering Recommendation

    Do a quick search and you will find a plethora of information. This is what I did before I did my conversion.

    I sourced a P.S. gearbox from a J-20, a pump & brackets from a '64 Wagoneer w/230 & hoses from a '73 Matador. Other than drilling one hole & removing the generator brace, it was a bolt on. I'd like to find a double sheive pulley for the pump, though.....
    This on my mostly stock(p.steering, 2 barrel, driveshaft mod, 38" tires)truck.
    Can't wait for nice weather so I can start driving it again.

    bolt on when sourced from old FSJ...Saginaw 76 box.
