    Default Newbee questions

    Hi guy I'm new to the m715 world and have a 68 with a 350 in it and was wondering if someone on here can tell me how to find out what trans and transfer it has
    I was under it and saw it is a gm trans

    take a couple of pictures and post here. someone should be able to identify them for you. Need front/rear of tcase and both sides of the trans.

    Most likely a SM 420 or SM 465 for the trans if it's a manual, you can go to Novak Adapters site and they have some pretty good descriptions or trans and t-cases along with pictures of them.

    T-case is the stock NP 200.

    You had the right idea with your last attempt, I just had to delete the extra [/img] off the back. You need one, but had it there twice.

    ok the reason im asking is because the transfer case hase oil all over it and i was just wondering if the seels for that are avalible or if there is a better transfercase i can bolt right up to the transm
