    At least they are confining themselves to just sending PM's. I hate it when they post on each and every forum - have to open 20 windows to get rid of the red.

    did they hack into the e-mail addresses also? I started getting spam, viagra adds, etc. at the same time.

    All that I can find is that a bot, a robot executing code, joined and sent 40 pm's...the limit for non paying members.

    I dont think the email addys could be hacked...that kind of info isnt anywhere near where the stuff you see is kept...I doubt that could have bee done...Vbulletin would have put out a fix if someone were getting that kind of info...

    Dont click the link and delete what you got and you wont have any damage.

    I think I have a temp fix that should help..I will be implementng it shorly...sorry this clown got through.

    i let my 3 yr old grand daughter watch her cartoons on my confuser and she clicked on something similar to this pm we are getting. its a fake antivirus program that highjacks your home page and also blasts you with popups from this scammer outfit.
    they say pay $50 and your problems are solved. i found a free fix on the net and got my tookus pulled out of the fire
