Are you using a chevy engine? If so get a housing from a 85,86, or 87 chevy pickup as they has hyd. clutch. be sure to get slave and master cyls. too. no linkage to fab and no binding during frame twist.

Hey scott I know this sounds like sacralige(sp?) but I had a buddy that used a hydraulic clutch through-out from a 87ish toyota. He says just bolt up the piston and run a hose to it.

How about a Th400 with a gear vendors?
Stick shift crowds
NV4500, Clark, Fords ZF, sheesh must be some I am not thinking of..
And personally I would use a Dodge Np202 or a Spicer 21 before I would use a Divorced 205 unless I was running a rather stock drivetrain as far as horsepower...those divorced 205's are considerably weaker than the married versions in most cases due to the smaller input shaft sizes as well as outputs.

just offering other ideas, and willing to bring MANY divorced 205's to the FE if they are valueable ;-P
divorced np205 is all 4 32 spline, which is larger and stronger than 10spline married ones

Agreed...some are. Some are also smaller...International and Dodge both used smaller imputs on earlier years..when we were truck pulling years ago we ran into this issue...I believe I even have one around here someplace.Originally Posted by mcinfantry
