They show up here in the classified section every now and then. There always seems to be at least one set on E-bay all the time. Government liquidation has pallet lots of them for sale all the time too.

The 900x16 non-directs are the stock tires that came from the factory and were on the truck all its military life. If you want your truck to look like it just rolled out of the factory or was pulled out of service in 1971 and stored away till now then the NDT would be what you are looking for.
The Michillen XLs is what the Army is using as a replacement to the NDT now. Though I was at the Armory the other day and they had a stack of brand new 1100X20 NDCC for their still in service M35s...but anyway many of the new trucks have the XLs. So it is a good modern replacement that will still give your truck a military look with some improvements over the original tires.

NDTs aren't bad on the road and are an easy steer with the stock set up.

Yeah, not bad on the road -until it rains.

Well they are 'off road' tires. Even the M 35s are bad on the road with NDT, with the lack of siping. NG in the mud? I've never had any problems with then in mud, they never loaded up! My,.02.
