Hmm, I wonder if the M726 didn't get different springs or something?
Also, 10K lbs and up GVWR for light duty trucks is a fairly new deal and hasn't been around very long. The new Dodge Chassis Cab can be had in a single rear wheel configuration with a GVWR of 10,200 lbs and with the dual rear wheels it goes up to a max of 12,750 lbs when properly equipped.
