a few quiks of the a-1

got my a1 back on the road in June, just thought I would pass a few things along to you folks. I?ve put on about 300 miles mostly off road. Bolts like to loosen up, especially the one on the front diver?s hub. Little bit of end play on the rear driver?s side axle. It liked to hesitate a little when I first pressed down on the gas peddle. I adjusted the air/fuel mixture and the timing, it went away. The Manual throttle likes to stick. I drilled the hole on the block that the cable goes through on the carb a little bigger. A good overdrive is the way to go, I have been up to 55 in 2nd, and 70 in 3rd not even full throttle. If you like to off road a good rear locker is a must. I recommend a power lock because it still makes the jeep look stock, takes a little getting used to though. Intakes and exhaust snorkels are a good thing, Plus you get allot of looks. A stock a-1 is very flexy .I like some photos and videos that were taken 2 weeks ago I hope you like them.
