    Radiator Question?
    Post by sprm715 on Jul 23, 2006, 2:55am

I am in the process of finishing my M715 and need a radiator that will cool a 2001 5.4 ford motor. The f350 truck's stock radiator is about 12 inches over the core support so it is out. So what radiator will work for this that will cool in 100 degree weather?

    Summit aluminum

or a stock FSJ radiator. Get the whole front valance panel and you won't have to touch a thing.

I used a 433289 radiator, which is for a '67 chevelle 396 - you have to grind off the front support tabs but it then slides right into the existing spot. It does extend about 1" out the back, and required me to use an electric fan with my 350 motor.
