Normally the spline count in the Dodge is 32. While the Chevy could be the 32 or a 12 if I remember correctly.

So the dodge or the 32 spline chevy is better? Which is the one above?

Yours looks just like my Dodge one did when I got it. Faded red color and all.

looks Dodge due to the way the crossmember goes up and over the top...it's got a piece cut out, but it's got that Dodge/IH crossmember look....

did chevy have a divorced 205? if so what years and what gm trucks?

i thought dodge,IH, and ford where the only ones.

That looks like either a Dodge or International NP205, which for all intents and purposes are the same. The Dodge is generally more desirable than the GM 205 since all Dodge 205s are 32 spline all the way around. The yokes will literally swap into all 3 positions so it's got beef everywhere, input an output. Also that is a really good price on a Dodge 205.

The best place to look for years and models for divorced cases is in a ujoint catalog. If it lists two joints for the intermediate shaft, it has a divorced case.

Picked up the case today. It is in great shape, just some surface rust, but spins real nice. Need to find a pto cover, seems when they made the mount they covered up the port with the new mount and just incorporated the mount to act as a cover as well. Also need to get new yokes or find the straps to go with these, but I don't really like the straps.

I dont think Chevy made a divorced case. This case should be a dodge and probably has 32 spline shafts. You got a great deal.
