I'm waiting to change it after I put my soon-to-be-green windshield on it.

Besides, you need to put up an avatar yourself first!

Thanks, Gunny! I don't know what numbers yet. I'd go with the date I finished Marine Corps boot camp, but alas I'm one of those who never signed up for that adventure!

I am going to apply for a Washington state "Collector Vehicle" license plate, which usually has 4 or 5 numbers on it. I'm thinking of putting those numbers on the hood too.

So, how can I find some examples of genuine USMC M715 numbers? I'd like to get it sort of right (number of digits, realistic hood/bumper markings, etc.)

My late father was in the Corps. Perhaps there's a number associated with his service I could use. He's my official reason for going with a USMC truck. (That and I like the color better and am not too keen on driving around with stars on it!)

Find out what day your dad graduated boot camp and use that, or his birthday. The Marines used 6 numbers during that time period from everything I have read. And we always put the year month day in that order. My numbers are 890825. August 25, 1989 the day I became a Marine. I am sure I told you that before.
