    Hopefully someone can identify this transfercase. I am hoping to install it with the factory e brake conversion. Not sure if it is an np202 or 205. Fisherman

    10-bolt pto cover would seem to make it a np202. Maybe Barrman or Bob Cowan can say for sure since they Bob has the NP202 that Barrman sold him.

    yep its the identicle t-case i got from BARRMAN. its installed in a m715 now. i,ll post pix asap. fisherman did you get the top mount crossmember with it ? also the last year these were made is 1964 i found out. i found a perfect set of poly mounts to use with this t-case as the originals are made anymore.

    Thanks Bob, I wonder why it was used in a 1970 truck?. I need to know what to do to add the e brake setup. Yes I do have the top crossmember mount. And I would like to know about the poly mounts. PM me or I'll give you a call if it is ok. Fisherman

    i,ve got another t-case thats going in a m715 with rockwells. it came with 1410 u-joints from the factory and the shafts are 1/4" bigger in dia. than the np200, np202 and np205. this is a hulkin- t-case. i,ll post pix of it in the near future.

    Bob, you were able to bolt on the e-brake setup off the 200? And you used the clamshell style top mount? Fisherman

    Bob, where did you get that information? Six States told me they were up to the early 70's? and I find it difficult to understand why they would make basically a bigger 205, then go back to the 200 and mess up the model numbering... and then reinvent the 205.

    According to my "Standard Catalog of 4x4's: 1945-1993," Fisherman's donor vehicle, a 1970 International Series 1100D pickup, only had one t'case offered by the factory and it is listed as a TC-141 with ratios of 1.93:1 and 1.00:1.

    Does this make sense to anyone?

    Transfer Cases used for other IH vehicles are:

    TC-140, CODE 13140 = NEW PROCESS MODEL unknown

    The TC-140 appears to be a pre 1960's model, and could be either a model 200, or 201.

    The part number for the TC-140 transfer case assembly 148970R91 is replaced by 227639R91 which is the assembly number for the TC-141, NP 202 transfer case.

    TC-141, CODE 13141 = NEW PROCESS MODEL 202
    TC-142, CODE 13142 = NEW PROCESS MODEL 205

    This is a 202 transfer case, uses the standard 2.125 seal, 410308 national if I remember right. From what I can tell this one came in right after the 201, which still had the break, but had a center rear output One way I remember is the top bolts come thru the case into the oil, so you need to use sealer on them. The case LuckyPabst posted is a 201 which has a rear bearing retainer all its own. Also, Bob cowan, I do have a couple factory crossmembers for these cases, call me if you need one.
